From Tom: Contact the King County Council

Hi everyone.

I believe that letters to our County Council asking that the County not sell the Benson Trolleys would be helpful now.  There has been quite a bit of commentary on the matter in the press recently and it’s an appropriate  time to let our elected officials know that we  want the vintage cars preserved until the Waterfront Park is designed. A sale at this time would be inexcusable.

I won’t suggest a sample letter because the letters you wrote me are so well reasoned that I don’t want to lose the intense feelings that you so eloquently articulated.  Letters in your own words are much more persuasive than a ‘form letter’.

The e-mail addresses of the Council follow (Thanks to one our compatriots who compiled the list for me):

Have a good weekend.

Regards,

Tom
